Healthcare technology succeeds when the people expected to use it trust it. I help healthcare technology companies turn frontline clinical insight into stronger product strategy, faster adoption, messaging clinicians believe, and the customer trust that growth depends on.

Advisory services
Where a clinical perspective changes the decision.
Engagements are scoped to the decision in front of you — a roadmap that needs a clinical read, a launch that stalled at adoption, messaging that is not landing with clinical buyers, a stage that needs a voice with something real to say.
01
Healthcare Technology Clinical Advisory
Clinical workflow insight, product feedback, and adoption strategy from someone who has used the technology on shift. Roadmap review, safety implications, and healthcare AI guidance aimed at the outcomes that move your business: usage that holds after go-live, renewals that are easier to earn, and clinical credibility your buyers can verify.
Translating clinical value into language that lands with nurses, clinicians, healthcare leaders, and the organizations that buy. Positioning, healthcare messaging, clinical content, thought leadership, white papers, and customer education written by someone who has worked the shift — so your pipeline hears a company that understands their world.
Just Culture implementation that stays consistent after the training ends. Psychological safety that people believe. Trauma-informed leadership. Workforce and frontline experience assessment, including the Wellness Forecast framework.
Keynotes, panels, and leadership education for conferences, health systems, professional associations, and health technology companies. Group Just Culture and trauma-informed training delivered live or online.
Healthcare technology succeeds when it holds up in the environments clinicians actually work in. I bring frontline clinical experience into product strategy, messaging, and adoption so companies ship solutions clinicians trust, buyers renew, and the market takes seriously.
Engagement 01
Clinical product advisory
Helping healthcare technology companies understand real-world clinical workflows and remove the barriers that stall adoption after the pilot.

Frontline workflow perspective
Clinical feedback on products and solutions
Identifying opportunities to improve usability and adoption
Engagement 02
Clinician-focused marketing strategy
Translating healthcare innovation into messaging that earns trust with clinicians, healthcare leaders, and the organizations that sign the contract.
Examples
Healthcare content development
White papers and thought leadership
Clinical messaging strategy
Educational materials and customer-facing content
Engagement 03
Healthcare market insight
The clinical perspective companies need to read healthcare buyers, sharpen positioning, and compete credibly for the accounts that matter.
Three rooms where the frontline is usually missing.
Every engagement starts from the same place: what actually happens on a unit at three in the morning, and what that means for the decision in front of you.
01 — Healthcare technology companies
A real nurse in the room, before the product ships.
Clinical advisory, product and workflow insight, healthcare AI perspective, clinician-focused marketing strategy, and executive thought leadership. I tell you what your buyers won't and what your end users can't put into words — while there is still time to act on it.
Culture work that survives contact with a real unit.
Just Culture, psychological safety, trauma-informed leadership, and workforce experience — built by someone who has held the pager, run the huddle, and taken the blow so a nurse could get a break.
A keynote your audience will still be quoting in the parking lot.
Story-driven, evidence-grounded talks on healthcare technology and AI, workplace safety, psychological safety, trauma-informed leadership, and the culture questions no one wants to name out loud.
And still, always, the individual nurse.
One-to-one coaching, new grad support, and the free Wellness Forecast assessment remain open to every healthcare professional who needs them.
For healthcare professionals
Building healthcare technology or leading a change in how care gets delivered? Start with a conversation.
After more than 25 years inside healthcare, I understand the reality technology enters when it reaches the frontline. I have lived the workflows, the pressures, and the challenges clinicians face every day — the perspective companies need to build solutions that work in the real world.
Bedside from 2003. Eight years in high-acuity units. Fourteen years managing adult medical telemetry and ICU. Then leading an inpatient pediatric psychiatry unit, and most recently Vice President of Enterprise Accounts and Clinical Experience at a healthcare AI company. I have used the technology on shift, implemented it at enterprise scale, and sat in the rooms where decisions about it get made.
More than 25 years as a BSN, RN means I know healthcare from the inside. Clinical environments, healthcare technology, consulting, and thought leadership — that range is what lets me turn the realities of frontline care into something companies can act on.

Susie doesn't just understand the human side of healthcare; she has lived every dimension of it. Our conversation on The Signal Room was one of the most grounded and honest discussions I have had about what it actually takes to build trust before you can build anything else. Every leader responsible for technology transformation in healthcare needs her voice in the room.

“Coaching is a clinical skill as much as it is a leadership one. Healthcare workers carry a unique kind of trauma.”

Thirty minutes, no obligation. Tell me the decision in front of you — a product about to launch, a rollout clinicians are not adopting, messaging that is not converting clinical buyers, a stage that needs a voice. I will tell you honestly whether I am the right person for it.
